Saltburn Studs

In some of my clay I mix pepper to create a terrazzo effect, and this time I wanted to see what adding salt would do. I  cracked sea salt onto the surface of the pale, mint green clay and rolled it in. I thought maybe the salt would sit into the surface of the clay and look like little crystals, but the salt disappeared after baking and left behind a unique texture of tiny little holes, reminding me of stone in the natural elements. Aptly named Saltburn (after just watching the film!).

Available in circular or heart shaped studs, matching dangles and necklace also available named 'Minty'.
