I wanted to play with laying thin strands of polymer clay across a slab of colour, creating leafy and floral patterns to emulate lace. I used an extractor to make white strands, and then rolled them slightly flat once I had them in position. They are slightly raised from the blue which gives a 3D textured effect and each pair has a different part of the pattern, making them completely unique.
The gold fixings make them a little more luxurious and glam :)
