Blue, green, orange and yellow mica powder mixed into translucent clay, then slices of each colour layered into a tower. A blade then slicing into the tower at different angles to create shards of layered colours, which are then flattened into another slab. Shapes cut, baked and buffed.
This creates - Ocean Sunrise. I decided to not add resin to the studs, but to leave them 'raw' so the texture from the layers was more visible and the colours were slightly more muted.
